Qualifications to be a member of the Knights Templar Priests

The qualifications to be a member of the Holy Royal Arch of Knights Templar Priest and the Order of Holy Wisdom are to be a subscribing member of :

  • A Regular Craft Lodge within a Grand Lodge recognised by The United Grand Lodge of England, or Grand Lodge approved by Grand College.
  • A Chapter of Royal Arch within a Grand Chapter recognised by the Supreme Grand  Chapter of England, or Grand Chapter approved by Grand College.
  • A Preceptory or Commandery of Knights Templar within a Great Priory recognised by the Great Priory of England & Wales, or Conclave of a recognised jurisdiction of CBCS or fulfils the qualifications of a brother Grand College, or a Great Priory approved by Grand College.

In addition to the above, every member must be a Master Mason of three years standing and profess the Trinitarian Christian faith. 

Regalia of the Knight Templar Priest

It consists of a White Mantle, a Tunic with the Templar Cross and a Mitre. When the Knight Priest Templar has been admitted to the Order of Holy Wisdom, he will also wear a cordelier at the waist.
